Was it £850k we sold him for? I heard it was £750k. Oh well, that makes it an even better bit of business for us.
I agree that Preston would be pretty much a perfect move for him - provided, of course, that he gets the time on the pitch that he hasn`t had at Cardiff. If he does, and if he fits into their style of play - which I assume the PNE management think he would, otherwise they wouldn`t be interested in signing him - then it`s really down to him. I wish him the best of luck.
I`m not sure it would be such good luck for CFC, though. It depends on the wording of the contract between Cardiff and us, but add-ons are usually based on appearances, goals scored - well there won`t be any add-ons there, will there - and, as I understand it anyway, a share of the PROFIT on a future move, not the full sell-on price. I may be wrong, and as I say it depends on the wording of the contract, but if he`s sold on for the same price that Cardiff paid for him, unfortunately we may well get bugger all.
