I'm one of the few (seemingly) who would be sad to see Anichebe go though. Although he's often injured, I think he has something to offer as a squad player, particularly an impact sub.
I don't think forward is a priority position with Rondon, Lambert and Anichebe and therefore would prefer if money was spent on midfielders even if Saido is sold. Although I have it on good authority that Pulis is definitely in for Austin. Personally, I don't think he's the type to really create something out of nothing - so see him as a waste of cash if he's signed and we persist with our current crop of midfield plodders.
Looks like Austin is having a medical at West Ham, did not see us going for him unless Saido went.
