Embarrassing. People will say we need more forward players, but our manager deemed it necessary to play 4 centre backs for the whole of that match. Credit to Pulis for taking Yacob off in the first half, but once we had the goal there was no ambition to get a second. I reckon the players were told to slow the game down rather than counter at speed, because whenever there was a chance for a breakaway goal we never took it.
I don't really mind the fact that Stoke came at us at the end. That was always bound to happen. However we should've been out of sight by then.
