I completely forgot about Mowbray. Guess who the last manager picked by Lawwell was?
By the way, I'm under no illusions about Rangers would fare in these CL qualifiers. Things have been going very well for us on the park lately, but we're only in the SPFL Championship so a long way from proving we can develop well enough to be competitive in Europe. Even if we were to win the Premiership, we'd be an unseeded team in qualifiers so wouldn't enjoy the advantage Celtic have had. We'd have to beat at least 1 really tough opponent. I think you're right in saying the Europa League should be the height of our realistic ambitions for now.
