Let's not get carried away with the PotY award either. He won that through being one of the very few last season who was anything close to competent, not because he played like Paolo Maldini in his prime.

I was thinking of Bacuna, Trus, not Hutton, when I mentioned AVFC's defensive deficiences at right back.
Having Hutton at right back and McGregor and Micah Richards capable of playing right back and/or right centre back as the players for those positions would give AVFC strength in depth there. Bacuna should be played in midfield, he is not a natural defender.
