Simple question, what's the plan, where do we go from here and can we afford not to invest?

Well I think the Academy plan has to come in now. We don't need to buy players. We have a full team waiting to take the stage. What was the point of signing Whitehead, Davidson and Crainie when we could easily have drafted in Billing, Booty and Wilkinson?
What's the point of giving the lads a meagre ten minute go from the bench and then wondering why they haven't performed? League Cup matches and the like should be the platform for these lads to come on as a team.
