If I ever see that midfield line-up again - barring a major injury crisis - then I will lose all faith in Pulis. Thankfully, I doubt I ever will. It is so flat and boring it borders on embarrassing, it is why many neutrals seem to see us as one of the most irrelevant clubs in the league. If we are going 442 we need a box-to-box destroyer in the mould of Yaya Toure. The powderpuff partnership of Fletcher and Morrison will see us lose the majority of midfield battles as most PL clubs have a 5-man midfield. As for Gardner, he should be a squad player covering for injuries and suspensions in the centre of midfield, not as our starting right mid where he is shown up to be the below average footballer that he is.
