I know its a sore topic but I was really ashamed of the idiots that boo'd our own player last night. It has been made very clear to him, by TP, that there will not be a repeat of that behaviour. Add to that he had previously eloquently explained his position in writing previously (back in Wigan days re Poppy).

Players spit, behave atrociously away from the pitch, earn vulgar sums of money, dive, hack opponents down, inhale helium and set all manner of bad examples but the baying idiots who boo'd last night don't seem to feel any of that is worthy of their spite.

Ashamed.
