After the latest gutless non performance, we are looking more and more like relegation certainties and unless Hoyle comes to our rescue and digs into his deep pockets and brings in at least three championship quality players, I fear we are heading for a disastrous return back into League One.
Lets be honest , the team is littered with players who at best are of league One standard, and with over 17% of the season gone already, we only have 5 points on the board from the 24 contested and if we maintain this rate of return, then we are on target for measly 30 points or less.
So come on Hoyley, admit that this "self-sustaining and sell off your best players" ideology of yours is a load of bollocks and can never work in a business such as football. You need to take a leaf out of Steve Gibson's book at Boro and spend some dough and quick, otherwise we are only going in one direction.
Finally, If and when you do spend some more brass, stop bringing in sick notes, spent forces and damp squibs such as Peltier, Stead, Lynch and Hogg etc, because what we urgently need are some genuine Championship quality players and nothing less.
