I should have added that I had hoped that Alan Stubbs would have made full use of the bench, but continuing his policy from last season, although we went 2-4 down with almost 30 minutes still to go, he seemed to accept the result and didn't use his 3rd substitute. Whether he didn't think that any player on the bench was better than those on the pitch or he just couldn't count up to 3, at least try something. If we're not good enough, then fair enough, but please try something.
