This will be my last post on this thread as it's sad that this has caused heated discussion between wba fans and I see this as such a non-event. He wasn't being disrespectful to Britain, but was respecting his hometown, which still isn't a support for any IRA action or bombing and it is a shame some people seem to think it is. It could have all been avoided if he just turned to the flag in the first place, but he did eventually as seen in 1996's picture, which some are conveniently ignoring.
I hope fans get behind him as he is a Baggie now and leave any political beliefs for outside the Hawthorns
