I'm starting to be ashamed to be a WBA fan due to the antics of some of the players whom have stirred up controversy for our Club.
There's a a very clear difference. Anelka's gesture had racist connotations and to do it was a choice made by him to be provocative. This incident has been 'stirred up' by the people who are choosing to be offended and the media, when McClean has actually been passive
Because you seem to be happy with his actions others are "choosing to be offended". Of course McClean is provocative.
I watched the whole game and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary from any of the players during the anthem, so does one photo taken in a split second which was jumped on and exaggerated by the press mean we should sack him?
I can't quite make out the provocative nature of his actions below, can you help me?
