Hold on a cotton picking second!!!  What's it got to do with my neighbours and friends the Americans??  There is no way "we" could ever take part in this conversation, we don't need to have this argument over these definitions as we just simply removed relegation/demotion from all major professional sports anyway!!!!   In fact not only did we remove it but we also reward the worst team by letting them have first pick of the new crop of youngsters coming into the sport!!  If they played in the USA, Rangers would now be loaded with top quality youngsters as a result of their "drop" down the leagues!!
