Valpayne, I have watched a few games and hadn't noticed the lack of spitting until you mentioned it. If this is the case then why do the men do it?? I never played sport at any decent level so have always thought it was just about keeping the airways clear during exercise but is there more to it?? I have noticed one thing though, a lot of the women players seems to be chewing gum while playing, surely that is a choking hazard if you take a hard knock or end up getting floored?? I always thought chewing while playing was banned??
