Personally I wouldn't want Sheridan. First he is a genuine hero among the fan base and I would hate to see that tarnished the way it has happened to others, and secondly I don't think his record as a manager is good enough, particualrly at the level. There also seems to always be something in the background when he leaves jobs other than just performances, sometimes it just doesn't add up with him??
As for Clough, he couldn't get the blunts promoted despite spending a ton of money and bringing in over 20 players. Also while he stabilised Derby, they were no longer progressing under him, so for me he would be a no as well.
