Potentially a good appointment for them. Has promotions from League 1 on his resume, three of them I believe but has struggled beyond that aside from the back-to-back promotions with Southampton. Question will be how much money will be spent on the team after clough managed to spend a relative ton of money on very little. The squad needs an overhaul particualrly in defence, and he will need a decent budget to achieve this. They have a huge squad compared to most teams, so it needs to be culled as well. Not going to be easy but the division is definitely weaker next season that it has been recently, so the opportunity is there.
