The guy is only 20 years old. It's ludicrous for him to say he wants to move now to win trophies when he's got probably another 15 years ahead of him at the top level if he develops properly. He's greedy either for money or for instant success without merit. While footballers want to win things I don't think it says much for anyone whose ambition is just to join a club that's already winning them without establishing himself as worthy of winning medals first. If he stays at Liverpool he'll play most games, has the manager's faith and can prove he's not just a flash in the pan, and those moves will still be there for him later if he wants to move further down the line. If he moves to United/Chelsea/Man City now he'll be rotated in and out of the side, and if he doesn't hit the ground running will find it hard to stake a claim at all. Plenty of promising players have crashed and burned when they found they weren't among the top dogs at their new club.
