It's fair enough to have some sympathy for Pepe but not really fair enough to compare doing well in the Spanish 2nd division to doing well in the Premier League.

The guy was out of his depth. That was plain enough to see....and of course, if it had worked for him then we wouldn't have the benefit of Tony Pulis at the Albion....

Any Manager who doesn't have the backing of both his employers and the staff he/she is meant to organise, is bound to be out of his/her depth.

Many years ago, I had a handful of staff who went over my head (behind my back) to my own Manager.

It's not a pleasant experience and fortunately never happened again.
