You can't blame Blackpool for the protest....but ultimately they will pay the price for it.
I believe Blackpool are going to view all CCTV footage and identify as many of the supporters as possible.
What they did is illegal and could result in them being banned for life. Good riddance to them if that's how they choose to behave at a football match.
As much as I agree with their cause, you can't go around getting matches abandoned. The longer they stayed on the pitch the less sympathy I had with any of them.
And it wasn't a peaceful protest from what I saw. Goading Town fans and then trying to get into the Director's box should have given the police enough incentive to set the dogs and horses on them.
