More sand on the pitch than on the beach and the prom combined when the tides in and a gale is blowing in off the Irish Sea at the moment. Might as well kick a beach ball around this weekend rather than a football. Two sticks of rock and and a bucket and spade for goalposts anyone? I'll be trying to keep up on t'interweb for this one.
Good read AmChaff - PS we were allocated 2,287 tickets according to the Town website. Sold out anyway. It would appear from highlights on the telly that Blackpool only allocate about half of that new tin-pot stand that replaced the old open-pile-of-scaffolding-in-a-mud-bath stand to away supporters this season regardless of who they played. When the rest of the ground is barely half full it doesn't seem to make much sense but does anything at Blackpool make much sense these days?
