Yep, you're perfectly entitled to that opinion.  Perhaps there are more extreme examples of one-upmanship on here, and if anyone spots them, by all means flag them up to me and I'll make a judgement on them too.

However, I'll continue to get rid of pointless, knee-jerk presumptions on the circumstances of other fans if they appear, because they add nothing to the discussion.

I'm sorry Ska'd, but are you saying you edited out a comment because in your opinion it was fatuous and one-upmanship? I don't think you're entitled to do that. By all means delete comments that have offended and caused a complaint, but anything else is censorship. Have I misunderstood your actions here?
