Because there was no need for the irrelevant one-upmanship at the end of what was an otherwise good, on-point post. Exchanging opinions is fair enough; making presumptions about the circumstances or plans of other posters is somewhat fatuous. Hence that line being removed from the original post and from the subsequent quote in yours.
