Back to the match, we'll need to watch Gestede and Rhodes if they play them. Nothing on for either side really other than points and pride but whether it's a fiver in in or not, I want to see us start with a full squad and a full on effort to win. That's why I bought my season ticket and why I travel up for these games. Throw some kids on the bench for the second half if you like but get on top first. The last few matches between us that I've watched have been a bit dreary so no real reason for both sides to settle for a point from the off.
The Bradford Fire
(Nearly put this in my thread last week, but I think more appropriate in here. Hope you don't mind this mini-hijack of your thread jjamez.)
This weekend is the 30th anniversary of when 56 fellow football supporters lost their lives in the fire at Valley Parade. There will be a minutes silence at all the games in the Premiership and the Football League this weekend in memory of those that didn't go home again after the match against Lincoln City.
The North Stand Loyal started a Just Giving page to raise funds for a commemorative banner Just Giving Page (or https://www.justgiving.com/Huddersfield-...upporters/ if the link doesn't work) that will be on display at the match. It was almost immediately paid for by two individuals so all the donations will go to the Burns Unit at Bradford University, which was set up in the wake of the Bradford Fire.
