Easter Road hosts the most important home game this season for Hibs. 3 more points will take the fight for second spot to the last weekend of the regular season, no matter what the other results bring. There can be no doubt about the importance of this weekend as far as we are concerned.
Alloa have proved to be difficult opponents, having taken points off Queen of the South and Rangers in recent weeks. Remember they are fighting for their lives at the foot of the table and we must match their desire. They will be keen to take their Championship survival hopes into their last game against Cowdenbeath and still be within striking distance of them. The Man in the Moon must be the only person who doesn't know that the way to play Hibs is to launch high diagonal balls into the Hibs box, so beware. Alloa have experience in top scorer Liam Buchanan and recent signing Michael Chopra, but I see no reason why Hibs can't get the 3 points. Having said that, we need to show more urgency going forward than we did last night.
