I should, but can't, remember some of these games v Fulham

OK some were midweek but some weren't. Anything '95 - '02 I wasn't in the country other than for a few days Xmas-New Year so I'll excuse myself from those.

My one abiding memory of Fulham is Halifax Town 0-8 Fulham in 1969. Pops used to take us to both the Shay and Leeds Road back in those days. Fulham players included Johnny Haynes (last season before he retired, he must have been pushing 60
but still as fit as a flee) and Alan Mullery. The Shay had just sold Chris Nicholl to Luton (they later sold him to Villa - I had to look that up as I thought he'd gone straight to Villa - your memory does strange things to you as you get older) and poor Shay goalie Alex Smith was left grasping at thin air for much of the evening. That score is still Fulham's biggest away win.
If I've bored you with that one before - I'll likely do it again next season.
