Hibs v Rangers - 22/03/15
#1
The final league game against Rangers is coming on Sunday at 12.45pm. In some quarters this match is being billed as the make or break game of what is left of Rangers season. Not on here! This is the first of 8 games which will decide the play-off places and win, lose or draw it will not define any team's season. And it's more to do with Hibs than Rangers.

If Hibs can continue their commitment and style shown in their recent run, then Rangers can and will be defeated on Sunday. Rangers have now drawn their last 5 games, including ones against the bottom 3 teams. As we all know, that means nothing on the day, but what does mean a lot, is Hibs winning run and the confidence it brings. Rangers will be desperate to halt their slide before meeting Hearts and QOS at the beginning of next month, but Hibs have the players and the system to defeat them.

For a game against our closest rivals, as strong a team as possible will be required to do the job well and I would choose:-

Oxley,
Gray, Hanlon, Fontaine, Stevenson,
Fyvie, McGeouch, Robertson, Allan,
Cummings, Malonga.

Subs - Watson, Stanton, Dja Djedje

El Alagui is making a strong recovery, playing in recent Development Squad games, and might make the bench, but he'll be needed for the rest of the run-in, so I'd take no chances with his fitness.
