Actually I used to frequent the stoke stone area a lot 20 years ago coz my brother lived there Its the only place I've been attacked (with an iron bar)    All I did was walk past a group of 4 geezers one of them called me a puff (I was into glam rock lol) and I merely pointed out he was the one out with 3 fellas    and he went berserk but his mates calmed him down and told him he was a nob. Anyway he only followed me to a car park and suddenly whipped out an iron bar and tried to smash my face in with it   I managed to duck and it grazed my head but if it had connected I doubt I'd be alive today.
