After a bright start Robbo went to sleep and let their first attack lead to Cotterrill slotting home from the edge of the 6yd box we rode their immediate pressure and got a hold of the game instead of collapsing.
Robbo's long throw bounced in the area and Trolly Dolly fired it home, seemed to enjoy scoring in front of the Bluenoses who seemed to have known he was a Villa fan so gave him what for. Pretty open game but we did ok and with more quality and composure throughout the 94 mins, we could and should have nicked a winner and bagged all 3 points.
Thought Vaughan still looks some way off firing on 3 cylinders even, could do so much more for me. Lynch and Huddy strong in the middle.
Coady was back on form driving, Butterfield superb as usual our man of the season, Hogg breaking it up well - his first shot of the season woeful and he should keep to passing it sideways and short.
Disappointing to see Bunn go off early musn't have recovered from his knock properly, Scanz had a great game running at his defenders and 2nd half tracking back to keep Cotterill under pressure.
Decent support unsure of numbers but guestimate 700, vocal and supportive, obviously a lot of moaners and given up'ers stayed away - that's their choice. Quiet home support and listening to Radio WM on the M42 Rowett was happy with the point gave us credit for doing the basics well. Good applause at the end, town came over to thank the travellers, froze my bollox off today mind.
