I don't think its just us not coaching them into better players, both McCabe and Corry have in the past by all accounts turned down loan moves, so have just ended up sat on the bench or not even in the squad every week. Any player not only needs coaching to improve, they need game time at league level as well, and these two turned that down for some reason.
Neither of them will be offered new contracts anyway, so Corry is doing the right thing to get himself some exposure and hope he can find a new club in the summer. Even if he perfroms brilliantly, with the best will in the world he is not a player that will propel us to the Premier League and that is the sort of player we now need.
