I'm back on the scene again after flitting my daughter and family out and into their new house. They were with us for 10 weeks instead of the planned 3 weeks and we love them dearly, BUT ............... !
Back to business as well for Hibs who overcame a plucky Berwick team by 4 goals, a scoreline that definitely flattered Hibs on the play, if not the goals. Berwick were never really out of the game until the third one went in and if they'd managed to pull one back, we could have been under a bit of pressure. For the first time this season, Alan Stubbs picked the same team as I did and was rewarded with a win.
Hibs 4 (Cummings, Stevenson, Stanton and Fontaine) Berwick Rangers 0.
Hibs have been drawn to play Falkirk in an all-Championship semi-final at Hampden on the weekend of 18 and 19 April. The other semi-final still has four teams in it, with the ICT and Raith being postponed due to the weather and Celtic and Dundee United replaying next week.
