Good summary Slick, and more or less how I feel after a few calming pints. I don't think anyone can really knock what Pulis has done for us in the league; he's taken a team whose rot couldn't be stopped by Clarke, Mel or Irvine, and managed to push us three quarters of the way to safety by the end of the winter. That was no easy job. But it still involved papering over some pretty big cracks, and this week an abysmal Villa side ripped the paper to shreds. Football is a game of fine margins, and those margins went against us in both games, but a good team should be capable of turning things in their favour with quality even when their luck's out; at the moment, we're not good enough to do that.
