Great day for Scotland today, Calcutta Cup win over the Auld Enemy........, er, sorry Team GB with the Men curlers winning 7-4 against Czechia, the Women curlers beating World Champions Canada by 7-6 and Kirsty Muir qualifying in the Women's Big Air competition.
The Men play Germany at 8am and Switzerland at 6pm tomorrow with the Women at 1pm against Sweden. Kirsty will be airborne once again at 6.30pm on Monday.
In the Women's Skeleton, Team GB's Tabatha Stoecker finished 5th, with Freya Tarbit 7th and Amelia Coltman 9th. No medals but great stuff from the women with the Mixed Team Event still to come tomorrow.
I quite agree Amelia, but they're international curlers and we're not. For me there's too much emphasis on putting guards on and then taking them off, whereas I'd be trying to use opponent's guards for my benefit by drawing in to the rings behind them and letting them worry about when to remove the guards. Be positive and put pressure on them, that's my motto.

I thought they were too negative after the break. That of course is the opinion of someone with a small amount of knowledge who thinks she's an expert every 4 years!
