Can we see ourselves clawing our way out of it? Sadly, I can't see it.

1 point in our last 11 games away from home.

Lost our last 3 games at home.

12 goals conceded from Ramsay's first 4 games.

Only 1 point obtained from Ramsay's first 4 games.

0-8 reverse against Norwich and Portsmouth, 2 teams who at the time of the games were in the relegation zone and direct competition.

We look like a team of strangers, playing a formation that we're not equipped to play.

Manager seems every bit as stubborn as he is clueless.

We lack both quality and spirit.

Our deadline day signings who have to come in and save us are a couple of 19 year olds who have played 8 minutes of league football between them.

It's not looking good.

The only way I see us "possibly" staying up is if we sack Ramsay immediately and bring in a "dinosaur" who might graft us to safety. It's not like we play any football anyway.

Of course I hope I'm wrong about Ramsay, I hope we're able to beat Stoke on Saturday and that is the start of the turnaround.

But I really don't see it.

We were bad under Mason and we've got remarkably worse under Ramsay. His decisions are terrible. His formation is wrong. His subs are picked out of a hat. It already feels like the players don't want to play for him.

If we do lose to Stoke at home on Saturday, I think his position becomes untenable. However, I don't see the board sacking him, they're clueless.

So I really don't see any light at the end of the tunnel, unfortunately.

And even if Ramsay was sacked and they get a dinosaur in, keeping us up will be a tough job for anyone. Our squad lacks just about every asset required - we've got little quality, we little athleticism and I've seen more fight in a puppy. But I think that's the only way we might have a chance of retaining our league status. Never thought I'd say this, but I'd take Tony Pulis back at the minute. We need someone who has a proven track record of getting the best our of crap players. Someone that can set us up to be hard to beat. That would probably be our best choice until the end of the season. We're down as it stands, so nothing to lose.
