Leyton Orient have signed Watford left-back James Morris and Hibernian midfielder Dylan Levitt, plus goalkeepers Will Dennis and Tobi Oluwayemi, and brought in Stoke winger Favour Fawunmi on loan.
Morris has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract, with an option for a further 12 months. No transfer fee has been disclosed by the two clubs for the 24-year-old, who has only made three appearances for the Hornets this season.
"We first tried to get him in the summer and, this month, we have had to wait for a couple of other things to take place before we could get the deal over the line," Orient boss Richie Wellens told the League One club's website., external
Orient have also added midfielder Levitt to their ranks from Scottish Premiership side Hibernian, the 25-year-old having agreed a one-and-a-half-year deal, with the option of a further year.
Fawumni, 19, grew up in East London and will stay with Orient for the rest of the season, with Wellens saying: "Favour is a very direct player who will give us something different in our attacking areas."
Of the two goalkeepers, Dennis will be on loan from Bournemouth for the rest of the campaign, while Oluwayemi has agreed a short-term deal after leaving Celtic.
"As everyone knows, our goalkeeping situation has been really challenging this month," Wellens added.
"We were really pleased to get Dan Bachmann in last week but, due to Saturday's freak accident in the warm-up, it looks like he will be injured for a long period of time."
Meanwhile, Orient club captain - and current Professional Footballers' Association chair - Omar Beckles has left the club by mutual agreement to join League Two side Gillingham.
The 34-year-old played more than 200 games for the club in all competitions and helped them win promotion from League Two in 2023.
"On field, his impact has been there for everyone to see since he joined us. Off the pitch, he is a thoughtful, measured and intelligent man who represents everything that Leyton Orient stands for," said a board statement.
Also leaving the O's is midfielder Jack Moorhouse, who has returned to parent club Manchester United.
The 20 year-old scored once in 20 appearances for the O's during his loan stay.
