DC is clearly a smart cookie. He has taken his time in buying the Club. He will have listened to what fans are saying. He will have studied the history of the Club & of the city.
He knows how to push a business forward & make it succeed so he will do this in the context of what he has learned. In a recent survey, less than 2% of Wednesday fans said they wanted a new stadium and only 8% want money spending on the ground. The majority don't care about the condition of the stadium.
However, what this doesn't take into account is the potential new fans that we would attract. The biggest way to increase crowds is to move to a new modern stadium. This has more effect than winning matches, although obviously that works pretty well.
I think DC will think about a new stadium or a total renovation of the current ground but is mindful of fans views & is taking small steps that will be accepted first until trust is established.
