The problem is the fans' expectations. Managers aren't given time. Corberan was given time only because his team were playing in empty stadiums due to the pandemic. In the second season we got to Wembley.

Grant should've been given til this time next year to prove himself but the fans won't have that.

Even Warnock had a bad first season with us, almost getting us relegated. But there were no hissy fits from fans. No booing as soon as we go one down. No telling the players that they're not fit to wear the shirt.

When we got relegated, a lot of people said to strap in because this won't be easy. And that's dead right. We have no right to instant success even if you do throw loads of money in.

The problem is we have outspent everyone in this division on transfer fees and wages, the problem is the chairman wanted automatic promotion, the problem is we were promised Northern football which was meant to be hard working attacking football, the problem is we are now paying a premium for this compared to previous seasons.

The problem was Grant wasn’t getting the best out of that team
The problem was his style of play was non existent after the first month, we were getting worse not better
The problem was automatic promotion was a distant dream
The problem was we were fading faster that the Sun in a total eclipse

I’m not having the fans to blame for this, Grant had a full pre season and 36 first team games to show his worth, he failed.
