Not to defend Senegal flouncing off, which was clearly unprofessional, but the videos circulating online of the Moroccan ball boys repeatedly trying to steal the goalkeeper's towel during the match - something they did to every team they played in the tournament - to the point where a pack of them were chasing the Senegal reserve goalie down the touchline and wrestling him as he guarded the towel from them, is an indication of just how bad a spirit the whole thing was played in.
Neither side comes out smelling of roses, but Morocco were clearly terrible and ungracious hosts, and Senegal probably deserved the win despite their own theatrics.
