Town transfers so far (may be more to come, if it helps)
This would normally be a couple of snips and pastes (oooh, er, Matron, more Vodka in the drip please) that are far easier to understand, but some of 'em don't like their own free publicity apparently, so we have to put up with this.
Innies so far
Bali Mumba
Left-Back
24 England, DR Congo, Plymouth Argyle £1.15m (cough)
Jak Alnwick
Goalkeeper
32 England, Cardiff City, undisclosed
Cameron Humphreys
Central Midfield
22 England, Ipswich Town, loan transfer
Rhys Healey
Centre-Forward
31 England, Barrow AFC, England League Two, End of loan
He used to get injured almost every time he played for Town so we sent him out on loan to improve his fitness and try and remember how to score goals. He f**ked up his knee in his first game for Barrow and likely won't be fit again this side of the end of the season.
Apparently he used to score goals for fun somewhere else, wherever that was - see Joe Taylor (and a few others).
Neo Eccleston
Right-Back
22 England, Grimsby Town, End of loan, 07/01/2026
Hasn't gone yet but likely could go somewhere else for the 2nd half of the season
Outies so far
Ben Wiles
Central Midfield
26 England, Milton Keynes Dons, England League Two
Gone to join the great project being run by his ex-manager at Rotherham, who was the last bloke he put a shift in for. He rarely put one in for us.
Fee? Not sure how much we had to pay 'em to take him, but we won't miss him and he was worth what it cost to get rid.
Joe Taylor
Centre-Forward
23 Wales, England, loan transfer
Wigan Athletic, England League One
Bought from Luton for an alleged £3m to great acclaim at the time but has had a hard time hitting either of the 'barn door' or the 'cows arse with a banjo' since arriving. Hat trick coming up on Saturday.
Leo Castledine
Attacking Midfield
20 England, Chelsea FC U21, England Premier League 2
End of loan, 08/01/2026
Recalled by Chelsea and sold to Boro for allegedly what we paid Plymouth for a bloke that has apparently lost his mojo.
We are Town for a reason.
Zepiqueno Redmond
Centre-Forward
19 Netherlands, Suriname
Aston Villa U21, England Premier League 2
End of loan, 14/01/2026
Injured for longer than he was fit, given Villa were mostly responsible for trying to get him fit again ....... watch this space
Owen Goodman
Goalkeeper
22 Canada, England
Crystal Palace, England Premier League
End of loan, 08/01/2026
His Open Return Train Ticket to Kings Cross has found him back at Barnsley. His rent might not have run out yet where he was staying whilst playing for Town.
He might not have even emptied his wardrobe. Keep an eye on Nando's
Being honest - If I'd been sent to Barrow, a town on the end of longest Cul-de-Sac in England, if not the world, I'd have f**ked my knee up in the first game too. You come offf the M6 thinking you are somewhere near and what seems like 2 days later you arrive.
