The squad is younger, as intended, some of the youth players have been brought through, the coaching staff is young and fresh etc.

Something that worries me is his Minnesota team played with 5 defenders, and from what I’ve read were primarily a counter attacking side, and sit very deep defensively. Now, I’ve read on Reddit from some of their fans about how he wanted to play attacking football when he took over and then changed to the defensive shape because of what he had at his disposal. I hope he isn’t going to come to the Albion and do a Ruben Amorim and try to shoehorn this team into playing with 5 defenders as it won’t suit the team and players that we have.

That adaptability shown to find a setup for the players there is a good sign though, so hopefully he can do that with us. I don’t think Mason had that in his locker.

Good and bad with appointing a similar manager. IMO he will try and bring a couple of the kids through while making us hard to beat. I'm sure he will pack the defence and look for fast break outs. Should get rid of the tip tap let's await the opposition to trot back and get in position that we've seen for quite a while now. If a couple of kids can force their way into the team this gives less need to buy so that's a win win. I'm sure Ramsay will add a couple anyway.
Ramsay himself posted he's been watching videos of this season's games, reducing his time getting to know what players can do. This is a big plus IMO. Far too many managers come here blind and the first couple of months are wasted "getting" to know the players. At interview stage they should have done a lot of homework, if not we shouldn't be interested in them.
Interesting times ahead. I got a positive feeling about Ramsay. The biggest problem will be with any manager we have who is successful is actually hanging on the them.
