Division One results for Matchday 1: Neonfoxinthebox is off to a flyer. A massive 33 points to start the new season, with his total including an 8 point joker on Town's Vertu Trophy triumph, as well as 4 other correct scores.
Ritchiebaby too had a cracking start, clocking up an impressive 27 points. He had 3 correct scores as well as a correct joker. Baggie Bob and Lord Snooty both got lucky with their jokers. Penalty shoot out wins for West Brom and Newcastle saving them, getting plus 2 instead of minus 2.
Those points meant Bob avoided the defence of his title with the week's lowest score, which instead went to jjamez.
Jjamez scored 14 points, with newly promoted theo the luddite one better with 15. Bob is 4th with 17 and Snoots has 20. So already a sizeable gap opened up for neon and ritchie. Can they keep it going?

Division Two results for Matchday 1: Not much separating the top 4 on Matchday 1, but it's St Charles Owl who has made the best start. He's in pole position having scored 22 points, ahead of themaclad with 20 and Shep with 18. Just behind them is Devongone with 14.
Amelia and Wakey start the new season the same as they ended the last one, as the bottom two.
SCO scored 4 points on his joker, predicting a home defeat for the Wednesday and that was the difference in him topping the chart. Themaclad was the only other one to play a joker. He had it on a Bradford win, but that game got postponed.
