I'll likely be trying for 4th again. There was a point early doors this time when I thought 3rd was an aspiration. themaclad got off to such a flyer I reckoned at best we were all chasing the hope of a play-off spot. This is the reason we aren't all Lottery or (back in the day) Littlewoods Pools Millionaires.
"I'm gonna spend, spend, spend" all my time doing predictions. Except, I don't and I won't. It's gut feel. It works or it doesn't. Who would have predicted Bolton to lose yesterday to Mansfield? Only the most optimistic Mansfield fans on the planet or, er AmChaff, apparently, and the most miserable sods that support Bolton. There's always games when the bottom beat the top and nobody can explain it ...... supposedly.
