Team News
Jordan Thompson was named in a matchday squad for the first time this season on Wednesday night and the summer recruit will make the trip to London with the rest of the team this weekend.
Pol Valentín and Daniel Jebbison have both returned to training and could be in contention for Saturday's match.
Ali McCann, Andrija Vukčević, Brad Potts, Lewis Gibson, Robbie Brady and Will Keane will miss out.
The Hosts
Millwall head into the weekend’s clash just a point and a place below North End in the table, sitting fifth after 14 matches.
It’s been a really promising start for the Lions, who recently won four matches in a row, although they return home on Saturday following a 4-0 defeat in Birmingham on Tuesday night.
Under former PNE boss Alex Neil, the team from The Den finished just two points outside of the Play-Off spots last season, and will be hoping they’ll have enough to make the cut this time around.
Match Officials
Referee: Stephen Martin
Assistant Referees: Mark Dwyer and Graham Kane
Fourth Official: Adam Herczeg
Stephen Martin will referee his first PNE fixture of the season this weekend.
He's officiated North End on numerous occasions over the years and was actually the man in the middle for PNE's 3-1 win at The Den in 2019.
So far this season, Martin has shown 40 yellow cards in eight matches.
