Is the island of Easdale far enough north of Hadrian's Dyke? At 240 miles, it should be, so how about the World Stone Skimming Championships. A highly skilled athletic event, featuring supreme technical ability and great wrist action 
as well as deliberate cheating, disqualifications and an official called the Toss Master. Using these parameters, it definitely qualifies as a sport.
To be fair to our friends from Welsh Wales, what about World Championship Bog Snorkelling? They can blow their own trumpet on the veracity of this major sporting event, but it's well worth considering by the Grand Jury.
