More Friday frustration for Albion as a point against Leicester - which would have seemed a fine return before a ball was kicked - instead felt like defeat as missed chances paved the way for a late equaliser. We have a couple more opportunities to get back to winning ways before the October break, but neither is likely to come easy: first up is tonight's visit to Carrow Road, where we've lost our last two and could make it a hat-trick of defeats for the first time since the 1970s. If there's hope for us this evening, it lies in the indifferent form of the Canaries, who went winless through September and have lost every home game so far this season; they're also missing Shane Duffy at the back, and after announcing himself in style on Friday night, fingers crossed that Samuel Iling-Junior can strike twice at the first sign of defensive frailty.

Millwall are next up on Saturday, and with our last five encounters all resulting in draws - the two at the Den both ending 1-1 - and only one victory in Bermondsey in the last thirty-eight years, we'd best not pin too much hope on anything more than a point there. A win and a draw from these games would be ideal; three points would still do nicely, and two will suffice, but anything less would add to the sinking feeling of recent weeks.
