Nuno is set to replace the recently sacked harry potter at west sham. Funny time to sack a manager when you have all week to do it, unless you've been talking behind his back, sharpening your knives whilst at it.
Jones should tear the national league up, there's a very good player in there with very bad hamstrings. If they held together he'd be a major part of this squad.
As for this squad I really hope may starts and not out wide, people calling for ashia to start, I've always felt that he plays incognito when he starts, he relies on his pace so let him come on after 60 and run at tiring defences that's when he shines more. I hope we persist with harness too, he's trying too hard at the moment and it's showing.
I think the alves injury has come at the wrong time, it means an out of sorts rooskens will have to play up there, unless Redmond gets another chance, but I'd change the system anyway which might help.
For me, Nichols, Gooch(hopefully) Feeney, low, roughan. Ledson holding, kas and castledine in front, harness and rooskens out wide and may up front.
You might be able to put rooskens at full back with Redmond cutting in Infront of him. Either way, ledson splits the cb, kas drives and gets around, Leo is the creator on chief and wide men are supplemented by the full backs overlap.
Sounds awfully familiar. Although the man who was successful with it for us did it Nearly 10 seasons ago now...
They say football is a simple game overcomplicated by idiots. And it is, fundamentally
People go on about how pep, slot, klopp, fergie, Wenger and Jose were/are geniuses but if you break it down they were just very good exponents of simple ideas.
Pep is based on press and keep ball. But if you watch closely their first team they are waiting for a xxxx in the defences armour. Slot is largely the same but with more drive once the ball is won. Klopp is the same but with even more emphasis on the drive and press.
It's all really simple but with very good players. Yet the modern day coach is all about over egging the mixture so to speak, more instructions than a manual and that's where the majority of managers come unstuck.

Another day, another door, another high, another low
