Another 'incident' from a migrant staying in a Hotel


"Cheshire Police have charged a Libyan man with sexual assault, following an incident outside The Royal Hotel in Crewe.

Taha Derwish, of Nantwich Road, was arrested on Wednesday 24 September, following an incident involving a teenage girl.

The 25-year-old, who is of Libyan nationality, has since been charged with sexual touching.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Chester Magistrates' Court on Friday 26 September.

Cheshire Constabulary and the Crown Prosecution Service reminds all concerned that criminal proceedings against Derwish are now active and that he has a right to a fair trial."
