Huddersfield Town Manager Lee Grant has named two changes to his side ahead of this afternoon’s West Yorkshire Derby against Bradford City in Sky Bet League One, kicking off at 12.30pm at the University of Bradford Stadium.

Forced off against Peterborough United at half-time with a calf complaint, Jack Whatmough faces a short spell on the sidelines with Murray Wallace stepping in to the backline this afternoon, just as he did at the Accu Stadium one week ago.

The second tweak comes in the final third, with Leo Castledine handed his first Sky Bet League One start as a Terrier having impressed from the bench on a number of occasions. He replaces Ben Wiles who isn’t involved this afternoon, with Castledine joining an attacking unit that retains Marcus Harness, Ruben Roosken and Joe Taylor within it.

Otherwise unchanged, goalkeeper Lee Nicholls continues between the sticks after extending his contract with the Club earlier this week, with Lasse Sorensen, Joe Low and Sean Roughan keeping their places in defence. Club captain Ryan Ledson again partners Herbie Kane in midfield, with Town boasting another strong bench to choose from this afternoon.

U21s goalkeeper Ellis Litherland continues to be available if required, with David Kasumu, Bojan Radulović, Alfie May and Will Alves all keeping their places on the bench. Josh Feeney steps back in as a potential substitute having missed out on the match day squad last time out, and it’s a first inclusion for deadline day loan signing Zépiqueno Redmond, who could make his debut for the Club should he be introduced.

Having previously confirmed the absences of Antony Evans (knee), Mickel Miller (hamstring) and Marcus McGuane (groin), they have been joined in recovery by Lynden Gooch (calf) and Jack Whatmough (calf), who were both ruled out by Lee Grant in midweek. Owen Goodman will again be missing this afternoon as he serves the second game of his three game ban.

Graham Alexander has named his team for this afternoon’s Sky Bet League One fixture against Huddersfield Town at the University of Bradford Stadium.

The manager makes three changes from last weekend’s game against Doncaster Rovers, with Alex Pattison, Tyreik Wright and Matt Pennington replacing Joe Wright, Tommy Leigh and Curtis Tilt.

Andy Cook and Ciarán Kelly appear on the City bench.
