Barnsley have signed Derby County defender Jake Rooney on a season-long loan.
The 22-year-old cousin of former England, Manchester United and Derby forward Wayne Rooney has featured 23 times for the Rams since making his first-team debut in August 2022.
His involvement in the senior side has been heavily impacted in the past two seasons by knee injuries.
His move to Barnsley will see him play under former Derby captain Conor Hourihane.
