I agree. You have to switch and be adaptable depending on who the opposition is and also like you say depending on if the opposition are playing a high press or are sitting back.

I too find the passing back and side to side boring to watch. I understand teams do it to find an opening and to try and build up an attack but it's not entertaining to watch.
We've all seen games where a team could have more than 50% of possession in a game but if you do nothing with or take your chances or opportunities to score then it means nothing.
