I thought there might be some detail into the manager shenanigans going on at Brentford just now, Marco.
With Warburton in charge, Brentford have been getting better and better. And yet the chairman Benham has decided that Warburton will leave at the end of the season....even if he gets them promoted to the Premier League.
Taken from the BBC website:-
As part of a remodelling of the club's football management, a head coach will be appointed to work alongside a new sporting director.
"The club want the new structure to be a long-term way of working which is independent of whoever is in the head coach role.
"Warburton, McParland and Weir have decided, following long discussions with Benham, that they feel unable to work under the changed structure and approach as it differs from their football philosophy
What a ridiculous thing to say and do. Imagine he gets them promoted and then has to leave as he doesn't fit in with the new way of working.
